If you are into astrology like myself, you will understand the sun moon and ascendant signs of the zodiac. The sun sign is the overall you, the basic you. The moon sign is the inner you, not everyone knows this part of you. The rising or ascendant is the public you. I say this to give reference to, nobody will ever truly know a person. Even if you have been with a person for numerous years, there will always be a part of them you will never know. In life we can only wear that mask for so long until the true you surface. You can not stay masked forever because it’s hard to keep playing a character outside of yourself. The hardest thing I’ve ever had to do was forgive someone who wasn’t sorry they hurt me.

This person I thought was my friend, my love my everything. I wanted to see this person successful happy and abundantly blessed. I invested into this person because I truly loved this person and respected them as an individual. This person was everything I thought I wanted in a friend and partner. Eventually the mask fell off this person and I was introduced to the real them. It was bewildering to me because I thought I knew this person and I thought this person had enough respect to spare me the drama. True fact in life you can never know a person completely. You are born alone and will die alone, there is no such thing as safety. You can never really know people because you can never really understand a personality, figure out the words behind the emotions or comprehend the perfections behind the imperfections. It really isn’t possible to know someone just by talking or being with him or her. It doesn’t matter how long or how intimately you know someone. It could be your best friend, colleagues, siblings, parents, a trustworthy confidante, a lover or your beloved spouse. You can never TRULY know them, not entirely. The best thing we can do is protect ourselves, never trust someone you don’t truly know or you do know and once a person show you who they truly are believe them. The world is a beautiful place the people and their character in it, is what make it disaterous.
